Business is starting to pick up after lockdown👍
Aug ended up being a good month for earnings as there was a sharp rise in demand.
With the lockdown over, businesses reopening and more people choosing private hire over public transport, there was a good amount of business to keep you busy all day.
Unfortunately, there has also been a rise in traffic and congestion made worse by roadworks and road closures. Sticking to my local area has allowed me to be able to avoid it the majority of the time by knowing where I am going, the best way to get there and being able to foresee any issues on the way back.
This might be something worth considering if your a driver who accepts every request and finds they are wasting a lot of time in unfamiliar traffic.
Business is still a way off from what it was pre lockdown but a positive move in the right direction nonetheless.
Let’s hope september continues to get busier as we hopefully start to move back to some sort of normality.
