Not much to report this month to be honest. London along with the rest of the country is still officially on Lockdown although it seems that most people are no longer following the lockdown rules and have flooded the streets. This has brought back congestion on the roads and a stark reminder on pre lockdown bumper to bumper traffic.
Any app drivers out there I’m sure will relate to this being a very tough month with more cars on the road leading longer trips times and more private hire drivers coming back to work leading to less journeys and very long waiting times between requests.
Strangely enough the month started as it ended with exactly the same earnings to the penny earning £788.66 which isn’t disastrous but a very long way off pre Covid-19 lockdown earnings.
With many lockdown restrictions being eased in june and retail shops opening up I’m hoping business will slowly start to pick up for the Private Hire industry.
